How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich:
Supplies Needed:
A clean plate, a jar of peanut butter, a jar of jelly, a loaf of sandwich bread, a clean butter knife, and a clean paper towel.
Steps:
1) Gather supplies. Set them all down on top of a sturdy surface.
2) Untwist the tie holding the bread bag closed. Set it down near the plate.
3) Remove the end piece and set it aside near the plate. Reach into the bread bag, grab two slices of bread from the bag, and set the slices next to each other on the plate.
4) Pick up the jelly jar with one hand and hold it while using the other hand to untwist the lid. Once the lid is removed, set it down near the plate. Use your free hand to pick up the knife.
5) Use the knife to scoop out about one tablespoon of jelly. Set down the jelly jar near the plate. Put the jelly on one slice of bread using your free hand to steady the bread. Use the knife to spread the jelly evenly, covering the top side. Repeat step 5 as preferred.
6) Pick up the paper towel with your free hand. Wipe the knife clean. Set down the paper towel near the plate. Set down the knife on the paper towel.
7) Pick up the jar of peanut butter with one hand. Use the other hand to untwist the lid. Set down the lid near the plate once it is removed. Pick up the knife with your free hand.
8) Use the knife to scoop out about one tablespoon of peanut butter. Set down the peanut butter jar near the plate. Put the peanut butter on the other slice of bread using your free hand to steady the bread. Use the knife to spread it evenly, covering the top side. Repeat step 8 as preferred.
9) Set down the knife on the paper towel. Use both hands to carefully pick up the jellied slice of bread by its sides and flip it over to put the jellied side down on top of the peanut-buttered side aligning the shape of the bread slices.
10) Cut the sandwich in half if desired. You may pick up the sandwich and eat it now. Enjoy.
